The greatest concentrations of hyaluronic acid are found in the fluids of the body, including the joints, eyes, and skin. An aging body produces less hyaluronic acid, leading to fluid loss. With fluid loss, joints become stiff, vision is negatively affected, and the skin becomes dry and wrinkled.
